Prepare for the LPN Certification Requirements in Pennsylvania
Not only must you complete an approved licensed practical nursing course in Pennsylvania, if you want to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state, but you also need to pass the certification exam, known as the NCLEX-PN. Applicants must submit proof of good mental and physical health through laboratory tests and physical exams. LPN students participate in clinical activities at the York Hospital, the Lutheran home of York, Pleasant Acres, and Northwestern Human Services. Students must have the ability to lift at least fifty pounds.
